Introducing the Dorsch Memorial Branch Library Homeschool Group!
We will be meeting at the Dorsch Memorial Branch Library on the 2nd and 4th Friday of every month for some educational fun! Parents can meet and socialize with other homeschooling adults while the kids are engrossed in a monthly rotation of subject areas. Each lesson will be guided by our previously homeschooled youth services technician, Kyndra Braden (B.A in Education-The University of Michigan and B.A in Languages, Literature, & Social Sciences-The University of Toledo), as well as carefully chosen community members to give your student an array of educational enhancements. Registration closes September 11, 2026.🍎✏️

It's time to add another book to your TBR! See why Cali recommends reading This Book Made Me Think of You by Libby Page. 📖💭

"I don't often give 5-star ratings, but This Book Made Me Think of You left me with no choice. I connected with the main character, Tilly, in a way I almost never connect with main characters. While there's a touch of romance, it's the profound love, vulnerability, and unexpected grief that truly shape the plot. The dialogue is honest, raw, and deeply human, capturing what it means to know someone so well they feel like an extension of yourself. The author, Libby Page, writes in a way that feels less like reading a plot and more like having a quiet, honest conversation with Tilly herself. Sometimes you need to read someone else's story to better understand your own, and that's exactly what this book did for me. 5/5 stars; beautifully written and beautifully felt." -- Cali
