Around noon, Kaelyn will sit down with the judges and have the opportunity to share who she is, what she stands for, and the impact she hopes to make as a leader across our state ❤️

Throughout her year of service, Kaelyn has represented Monroe County with kindness, determination, and a genuine desire to make a difference. Today is her chance to let that passion shine. While titles and crowns are exciting, this interview is about so much more. It is about sharing her heart, her experiences, and her vision for how she would serve as Miss Michigan's Teen 👑

Adding to an already exciting day, Kaelyn will also interview as a Top 5 Teens in Action finalist! This recognition is a testament to the incredible work she has accomplished through *A Gram of Hope* and the lives she has impacted throughout her year of service. For months, she has worked to prepare for this moment. From serving our community to refining her goals, advocating for her service initiative, and representing Monroe County with grace and professionalism, Makayla has poured her heart into every step of this journey 🌟

Our Miss Monroe County's Teen, Kaelyn, kicked off her Miss Michigan's Teen week with a bang! 👑

Yesterday was filled with excitement as she checked into the Frauenthal Theater, participated in the Class of 2026 class photo, and enjoyed yoga with her fellow contestants as they officially began their Miss Michigan's Teen journey. But the excitement did not stop there... ✨

Kaelyn was announced as a Top 5 Teens in Action finalist for her outstanding community service initiative, *A Gram of Hope*. Thanks to her dedication, passion, and impact throughout Monroe County, she will interview for a scholarship on Thursday as one of the state's top service-minded young women ❤️

We could not be more proud of Kaelyn and all she has accomplished during her year of service. Her commitment to making a difference continues to inspire those around her, and we cannot wait to see what the rest of the week has in store. Day 1 at Miss Michigan is officially in the books for our Miss Monroe County! 🤎✨

Yesterday, MaKayla checked in at the beautiful Frauenthal Theater and settled into the Delta Hotel, the official host hotel for Miss Michigan week. She also attended the Welcome Ceremony at the B.O. Docks of Muskegon and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Dr. Rolf’s Barbeque.

Most importantly, she looked absolutely stunning and is already having an incredible time! We are so proud of the way she is representing Monroe County and can’t wait to see all the amazing memories, friendships, and opportunities this week brings.

Representing Monroe County on this stage is something she has earned through her hard work, determination, and dedication, and we couldn't be more proud to watch her live out this special moment. The deadline to register for the 2026 Miss Monroe County's Mini and Miss Monroe County's Sparkle programs is this Friday at 11:59 PM — NO EXCEPTIONS!

✨ Miss Monroe County's Mini Program is open to girls ages 4–12 and is a fun opportunity to be part of Miss Monroe County Week, make new friends, and create unforgettable memories.

💜 Miss Monroe County's Sparkle Program is open to young women ages 8 and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities, providing a supportive and empowering experience where every participant can shine.

Tonight, we welcomed 8 outstanding contestants to Orientation and officially kicked off their MMC Summer Camp experience! 👑✨

Over the next few months, these young women will challenge themselves, give back to our community, and compete for the title of Miss Monroe County’s Teen 2026.

Welcome to the Miss Monroe County Class of 2026! 👑

Tonight, we officially kicked off the MMC Summer Camp with Orientation and welcomed our 10 amazing contestants! ☀️💖

Over the next couple months, these young women will grow, learn, serve, and make memories that will last a lifetime — all while competing for the title of Miss Monroe County 2026!
