We are looking for our next great Office Coordinator at CCRI!

The Office Coordinator is the first person most people see when they come to CCRI, so this role needs someone who is enthusiastic, positive and loves interacting with people. Behind the scenes, the Office Coordinator is central to keeping the office running smoothly and efficiently and is a go-to resource for many people in the building.

Designer Purse Bingo certificates are on sale today at Vic's Bar & Grill!

You can stop in between 4 – 9 p.m. today to buy your certificate for $40 cash. The certificate reserves your pack of three-card bingo sheets for 10 games at our next Designer Purse Bingo, scheduled for 6 p.m. September 29 at Vic's.

We'll also be selling certificates on September 9 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 4 – 9 p.m.

We held our annual Prom in August, and it was another amazing night!

The theme was Pixar movies, and the people we support definitely looked like they belonged on a red-carpet movie premiere!

Thank you to the Avalon Events Center for being a gracious host, and thank you to Hope Blooms for partnering with us to provide the corsages and boutonnieres that added such a beautiful extra touch to the outfits. It's a great bonding experience for our team members as well!

We are always so grateful for the volunteer hair and makeup stylists who come out and help our people look and feel their best leading up to the big event. The office was buzzing with positive energy that day thanks to you!

Thank you to DJ Scott from Powerplay DJ for keeping the energy level high for the dance, and thank you to Gate City Bank for helping tear down after all the fun. It was a wonderful evening!

So many others deserve thanks for making it a memorable night: the CCRI Prom committee, the grand march escorts, and all the volunteers and staff who work behind the scenes to ensure things go smoothly. Thank you so much!

We have a great opportunity for someone who enjoys creating and running fun activities for some truly awesome people!

We are hiring a part-time Life Enrichment Coordinator to support social activities for the people we support along with volunteer coordination. This role has the potential for full-time with the addition of DSP shifts.

A highlight of summer at CCRI is our annual client appreciation picnic, and this year we had absolutely gorgeous weather and a great turnout for the event in early August. Thank you so much to Lake Country Meats for their generosity in helping us feed the group, and thank you as well to Gate City Bank for the delicious cookies! It was a fantastic evening!

It's back! Our next Designer Purse Bingo is set for 6 p.m. September 29 at Vic's Bar & Grill!

Advance sale bingo certificates will be available for purchase at Vic's at the times below. Certificates are $40 cash and reserve your pack of three-card bingo sheets for 10 games.

Bingo certificate sales:
September 2, 4 – 9 p.m.
September 9, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. and 4 – 9 p.m.

We are so grateful for everyone who helped make our Summer Silent Auction on August 7 a huge success!

Thank you to the organizations and individuals who donated awesome items and baskets, and thank you to Brewhalla for being gracious hosts for our live viewing of the auction items. And of course, thank you to all the generous bidders who showed their support for our mission and won some cool stuff in the process!

Reminder: If you were a winning bidder, any item not picked up by August 21 will be considered a donation to our next silent auction.

Our silent auction raises money for events and activities such as our inclusive Prom that help the people we support create connections, build life skills and live as independently as possible. Your support helps us provide housing support, mental health services, and create meaningful opportunities for inclusion for adults and kids with disabilities.

We’re already excited to see what next year’s auction will look like!
