What an incredible day for our Brookhaven Bulls! 🎶❤️🖤

Our 4th & 5th grade general music classes, band, strings, and choir took the stage at the historic MET Theater today for a performance to remember! From beautiful vocals to impressive instrumental performances, our students truly showcased their hard work, talent, and dedication.

A huge thank you to Mr. Lambert, Ms. Matheny, and Mr. Gillum for working so diligently with our Incredi-BULL students to make this special event possible. Your passion and commitment helped create memories our students and families will cherish for years to come!

The Monongalia County Board of Education is accepting written letters of interest to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Board member Christina Fattore Morgan on May 13, 2026.

• Meet all eligibility requirements established by West Virginia law and Monongalia County Board of Education policy

Applicants
• Cannot be employed as a teacher or service personnel within Monongalia County Schools
• Cannot hold another public office while serving on the Board of Education
• Cannot serve as a member of a political party executive committee
• Cannot become a candidate for another public office while serving on the Board of Education
• Cannot serve as a delegate, alternate, or proxy at a national political party convention
• Cannot solicit or receive political contributions on behalf of partisan candidates or campaigns
Additional eligibility restrictions regarding employment, public office, and political activity apply under WV law and Board policy.
