The Ralph Reeder Food Shelf provides food and additional resources to low income individuals and families living in the Mounds View School District.

Now through March 15, Tommy's Express Car Wash in Mounds View is offering a FREE Works Wash to anyone who brings in 5 or more non-perishable food items to donate in support of the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf during the Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign.

It’s a simple way to help restock local food shelves while getting your car shining clean at the same time!

March is Minnesota FoodShare Month — one of the most important times of the year to support local food shelves!

Throughout March, you can make an even bigger impact by donating food, making a financial gift, or simply helping spread the word. Every pound of food and every dollar donated this month helps restock our shelves after winter and ensures families in our community continue to have access to nutritious food.

Even better — donations made in March count toward a partial match. Every contribution helps us qualify for a larger grant through the GMCC FoodFund, meaning your generosity goes even further to support neighbors facing food insecurity!

Great news! 🎉 The upcoming Sip & Donate at The Tavern Grill in Arden Hills has expanded and is now also a Dine & Donate event!

That means even more ways to give back. Simply present the attached flyer when you dine, and 10% of your bill will be donated to the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf.

Enjoy a delicious meal, gather with friends, and help make a difference for neighbors in our community. We’re so grateful to The Tavern Grill for creating another opportunity to turn a night out into meaningful support!

We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Rey Robles Jr. of Nothing Bundt Cakes for organizing a community food drive in support of the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf!

Thanks to Rey’s leadership—and the incredible generosity of Nothing Bundt Cakes customers—over 269 pounds of food (and counting!) has already been donated to help neighbors facing food insecurity.

We’re so grateful for partners who bring people together in such meaningful ways. Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make this drive such a sweet success!

We're so grateful to the Shoreview/ Arden Hills Lions Club for their generosity during their MLK Community Day of Service. Through their efforts—which included packing bags of food—they donated an incredible 876 pounds to support neighbors facing food insecurity. This day of service is a powerful reflection of Dr. King’s legacy, and we’re grateful to the Lions and everyone who participated for making such a meaningful impact in our community. 💙

Looking for a meaningful way to spend MLK Day? Join the Shoreview/ Arden Hills Lions Club for a morning of service at the Shoreview Community Center on Monday, January 19, from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Volunteers will help pack food for the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf, knit newborn hats (no knitting experience required!), and take part in other hands-on activities that support our community.

All are welcome—come lend a hand, connect with neighbors, and honor Dr. King’s legacy through service. Please RSVP in advance so organizers can plan accordingly. We hope to see you there!
