Good morning everyone, and if you are not having a good one, here is a picture of our dog Hope. I aspire to be as chill and unbothered as her when I grow up!

Side 🗒️ That collar is a training one, we taught her to respect the beeping and she is the best and most obedient, eager to please dog we’ve ever had!

She makes me smile 😊 I hope she made you smile too!

‼️🚨🚨‼️Unfortunately due to no internet and everything else with it ( like printing) the library will be closed until Monday July 13th.

We are open until 3pm waiting for the van, but we can’t check anything in or out from what’s coming.

I will update here and leave a sign at the door if we still have no Internet on Monday and we need to remain closed and update when we will be open.

Our Internet provider and IT people have been working on a solution but some piece of hardware is not working and it will be tentatively fixed by Monday.

We’ve been working on checking out books and write down patrons names and barcodes.

We have a pile of books to be checked in that is growing and growing … and a little out of control… at this point we have no choice but to wait.

Thank you for understanding. This is incredibly frustrating for me and the staff who has been spending hours with IT and DFN to try to troubleshoot.

Everything needs to be pushed back, thanks again.

I (Lety) was trying to find something to be grateful after a stressful day… but then I looked at the pictures and I remembered what I’m really grateful for…you! ❤️

Thank you for coming, for lending a hand, a shoulder to cry on 🤣, an ear to listen to my nonsense when things don’t go right and more!

Thank you for sharing your kids with us, thank you for seeing value in the things we are doing every Thursday.

Today adults conversation went from TJ MAXX to the furniture store, to the World Cup, recipes and more!

After the program, I took a walk, listened to the wind blowing, the water rushing in the river, the silence of the woods and I can see clearly now what to be thankful for❤️❤️

Thank you!

And a huge thanks to the staff that worked hard today to make everything work with no internet and no printers during the busiest day of the week at the library ❤️

You guys deserve the world and more!

Today we kicked off our Summer Reading Program, and what a wonderful day it was! We laughed, we played, and we made memories together as Mz. Pearl entertained kids and grown-ups alike with her amazing show.

Thank you to everyone who came out and spent part of your day with us. Seeing so many smiling faces in our little library means more than words can say.

We hope these pictures capture some of the laughter, excitement, and pure joy on the kids' faces. Those moments are truly precious and something money simply can't buy.

We'll see you this Thursday, July 2nd, at 4:30 PM at the library.

No club book club is coming soon! Stop by and check it out 7/1/2026 📚 🤩

How it works:

1️⃣ Pick a book from the display.
2️⃣ Sign our log.
3️⃣ Read at your own pace.
4️⃣ Return the book and a review card.

Every time you borrow a book and return the review card, you get an entry to our end of the month giveaway!

You can borrow as many books as you want, and let us know if we should read it… or not!

Every book you borrow supports our library circulation numbers and programming as well ❤️
