Thank You, The Greater Boston Food Bank !

We are incredibly grateful to the Greater Boston Food Bank for awarding the Natick Service Council a $10,000 grant to purchase additional refrigeration for our food pantry.

This investment will help us expand access to fresh produce and perishable foods for our clients, ensuring more neighbors can bring healthy, nutritious food home to their families.

Partnerships like this make a meaningful impact in our community, and we are so thankful for GBFB’s continued support in helping us provide food with dignity and care.

Fresh, local, and community-grown 💚🥬

A huge thank you to the Natick Community Organic Farm for donating 8 cartons of locally grown organic lettuce to the NSC food pantry! We are so grateful for community partnerships like this that help us provide fresh, quality food to our clients so they can shop with dignity and choice.

NSC is rooted in community, and it is always wonderful to see neighbors coming together to support one another in such meaningful ways. From the farm to our pantry shelves, this generosity will make a real impact for local families.

Thank you, NCOF, for your partnership and continued support of our community! Pictured here are NSC staff, Brodie Thomas and Wendy Campana and Jen from NCOF.

Behind the numbers are real stories, real families, and real moments of support.

Last week, we shared highlights from our Annual Meeting — the number of pantry visits, volunteer hours, households supported, and community partnerships that made this work possible. Those numbers reflect an incredibly caring community coming together to support our neighbors.

But the true impact goes far beyond statistics.

It’s the parent who can celebrate their child’s birthday because of donated gifts. The neighbor finding reassurance through access to food and clothing. The individual gaining confidence and stability through career support and community connections.

At NSC, we are not only providing essential resources, we are helping create stability, dignity, and hope during difficult moments. And none of it would be possible without the compassion and generosity of this community.

Thank you for continuing to stand beside your neighbors. Together, we are making a meaningful difference. To continue supporting our mission, please consider making a donation to our Spring Appeal: https://bit.ly/MeetingTheNeed2026

From the Archives!

This article from 2011 reminds us of something that still holds true today: while donations often slow down in the summer months, the need in our community does not.

At NSC, we continue to see increased demand for food access during the summer, especially for families with children who no longer have regular access to school meals. Just as highlighted in this article, community partners, like the Morse Institute Library Natick, continue to play an essential role in supporting our neighbors and helping meet this need.

Your support, alongside strong community partnerships, helps ensure our pantry shelves stay stocked and our neighbors have access to nutritious food!

NSC is proud to partner with the Town of Natick, MA and the Worcester Red Sox for this year’s Town Takeover on Thursday, June 5th!

Through the Pay It Forward Ticket Program, community members can purchase extra tickets that will be donated to local families supported by NSC, helping ensure that everyone has the chance to enjoy this exciting and memorable evening together.

A night at the ballpark is more than just baseball, it’s an opportunity to connect, celebrate community, and create lasting memories. With your support, more families in Natick can be part of this special event.

Today, we remember and honor those who gave their lives in service to our country.

At NSC, we are grateful for the courage and sacrifice of the men and women who made the ultimate commitment for our nation and our communities. Their legacy lives on in the strength, resilience, and unity we strive to foster every day.

As we gather with family, friends, and neighbors, we pause to reflect and remember.

We held our annual meeting this week and the numbers from the past year tell a story we are proud to share!

Together, we provided food, financial assistance, career support, holiday gifts, clothing and compassionate care to hundreds of Natick families navigating difficulty times.

Every bag of food distributed, every volunteer hour, every donation, and every partnership helped create stability, dignity and hope for our neighbors.

Thank you to our supporters, volunteers, community partners and donors for making this impact possible and for bringing our mission of Neighbors Helping Neighbors to life!

A heartfelt thank you to the TJ Maxx Foundation for awarding Natick Service Council a $40,000 grant to support our Back to School Program!

Because of this generous support, NSC will be able to help ensure that Natick students head back to school fully prepared and confident for the year ahead, without placing additional financial burden on families.

This funding will allow families to receive gift cards to shop for back-to-school clothing, helping students start the school year with the tools, clothing, and confidence they need to succeed.

We are incredibly grateful to the TJX Foundation for investing in our community and helping us support local students and families with dignity and care.

Our partners at Spoonfuls, Inc. just released their 2025 Annual Report — and it's worth a read.

Spoonfuls rescues excess food from grocery stores and gets it where it belongs: feeding people. Last year alone, they recovered over 6.2 million pounds of good food across Massachusetts!

For NSC, that partnership means over 10,000 pounds of fresh produce, perishables, and pantry staples delivered directly to our food pantry — nourishing our clients and reducing food waste. We are so grateful for our partnership and what that means for supporting our neighbors!

Read their full annual report below:

Our 2025 Annual Report, "Steady Still," is here! Last year, amidst unprecedented disruptions in the emergency food system, Spoonfuls stayed committed to steady, strategic progress. The result? Recovering over 6.2 million pounds of good food – more than any other year. You can read it now on our website.
