These sweet animals were brought in over the weekend as strays.

The little kitten is a female and was brought in off of East Front Street in New Bern.

The Black and tan male dog was brought in from Cool Springs Road in Ernul.

The female hound was brought in off of Olympia Road in Pamlico.

The small white and black boy was brought in off of Hwy 55 in Dover.

Meet Skyler!

This lovely older lady came to us almost a month ago. She's 8yrs old, heartworm positive and not yet spayed. She's got some baggage though... Unfortunately, she's suffering from a mammary tumor that we're not capable of treating. To be very transparent, she was a candidate for euthanasia. With her medical problems and being a senior, statiscally her chances of being adopted were slim, but we couldn't do that. Not to her.

Skyler has more life to give! Her energy surpasses her age, and her eyes shine bright as the sun. The cuddles she gives are heartwarming. Treats don't last a second around her! Skyler has so much more love to give someone. She truly needs a second chance to be able to live a happy, fulfilling life for however long that may be.

As of today, she is officially available for adoption! We will be covering her adoption fee too. Please stop by any time we're open to meet her! (just as long as you don't have cats)
