Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College NHSC is the only TCU that offers an Equine Studies, and Sustainable Energy Technologies programs.

Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College (NHSC) is tribally chartered by the Three Affiliated Tribes of the Fort Berthold Reservation headquarters at New Town, North Dakota. NHSC is tribally controlled by a Board of Directors, which consist of seven-members. The College was founded May 2, 1973, as the agency responsible for higher education on the Fort Berthold Reservation. The Three Affiliated Tribes endors

📢 Campus Closure Notice

Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College will be closed on Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth.

Please note that our STEM Camp will continue as scheduled and camp participants should report as planned.

Regular campus operations will resume on Monday, June 22.

We wish everyone a safe and meaningful Juneteenth as we honor this important day in our nation's history.

Several NHSC students are attending the 2026 Health Science Summer Institute at the University of North Dakota. The program is funded by the NIH Narch-Birch grant, the American Indian Higher Education Consortium in partnership with the University of North Dakota. The program offers TCU students to develop research skills, attend seminars on research methodology, Tribal data sovereignty, and network with Native faculty and students!

This announcement is for the first camp, which will be open to middle school students. This is a DAY CAMP and will be on NHSC Campus. Students entering grades 6-8 are welcome to apply.
