Discussions focused on the future of innovation, entrepreneurship, research, and how founders can think globally in an increasingly interconnected world.

Building on the momentum from Governor Whitmer’s visit to the UAE, H.E. Consul General Amna Almheiri was pleased to visit Michigan and continue strengthening ties between our communities.

The visit included productive meetings with Governor Gretchen Whitmer, the Michigan Women’s Commission, MEDC, and the American Arab Chamber of Commerce, focused on leadership, innovation, and economic collaboration.

As the UAE and Michigan continue to deepen their relationship, we look forward to further strengthening connections across business, and people-to-people engagement.
