Who’s your go-to?

When you or someone you care about needs information about services, transportation, activities, health resources, or other community supports, where do you turn first?

Maybe it’s a friend, family member, doctor, local organization, or another trusted resource. Whatever your go-to is, share it in the comments! You may help someone else find a resource they didn’t know about. Age-Friendly Licking County is working to make Licking County a place where older adults can live well, age well, and thrive.

Just 1 spot left!

Ready to feel more confident with technology? Our next Digital Skills Hub technology training class starts on September 14 from 1:00 – 3:30 PM at the West Licking County Family YMCA.

In partnership with Columbus State Community College and ConnectUS Central Ohio this free training will give you the skills you need to become more comfortable using your devices, or simply get a little extra help with technology.

This class is a 5 day training and participants are required to attend all sessions in person from September 14-18.

Volunteer Opportunity: Meals on Wheels Helper

Help LCAP deliver more than a meal to older adults in our community.

As a Meals on Wheels Helper, you’ll ride with an LCAP staff member and provide an extra set of hands to load vehicles and deliver meals. You will not be driving.

Opportunities are available Monday through Friday. Hours vary by route but typically fall between 9:30 AM and 3:00 PM.

For the safety of those we serve, all LCAP volunteers must complete a background check before volunteering begins.

To sign up or learn more, contact Christin Gallant at (740) 345-0821, ext. 1216 or [email protected].
