Hi! We’re hosting the 2nd Annual Nobleboro Fire & Rescue Car & Bike Show on August 29 at the Nobleboro Central School and we’re looking to bring in 1–2 food trucks.

Event details:
• Time: 10:00 AM – 2:30 PM (setup before 10)
• Expected attendance: ~200 people
• Location: Nobleboro Central School, 194 Center St., Nobleboro, ME

We’re a local fire department fundraiser, and the event will include a car & motorcycle show, raffle, and community gathering.

Details for vendors:
• Prefer self-contained trucks (no power hookups available)
• Flat setup area provided
• No vendor fee (but a donation would be happily accepted)
• Easy access and good foot traffic

Firefighter Health and Fitness Session II

Hello all!

We’re going to try something different for the next session of Firefighter Fitness. Most important, no cost!

For the summer months when we can be outside we will meet Friday nights at 6:00 at various locations, mostly fire stations in the area. We will do more firefighter specific workouts and more SCBA work this time around.

Anyone who is interested, we’ll start this Friday at the Damariscotta Fire Station. They have a larger amount of parking than we can offer in Nobleboro.

When the weather starts to turn cold in the fall we will move back inside at the YMCA.

No need to RSVP. Just show up Friday at DFD at 6:00 hydrated and ready to go! Newcomers welcomed - bring a friend or family member if it helps motivate you!

Our thoughts go out to all those injured and affected by the tragic incident in Searsmont. Information is still forthcoming but it sounds like it was a very hard day for the firefighters.
