☀️ Happy Solstice Weekend! ☀️
The North Pole Elementary garden is in & we are excited to watch it grow! Students, teachers, and community volunteers had their hand in starting plants from seed earlier this spring & our incredible volunteer, Pam, has them in the ground! 🌱 We’ve added an arch for the cucumbers, beans, and peas to climb & we have plans to add wood chips on the ground throughout the garden later this summer. Our raspberries are looking healthier than ever & the bees are hard at work in the raspberry box especially!

💦 💦Anytime you’re in the area and have a few minutes, please use the watering cans that are there and water any plants or boxes that look dry!

As things grow, anyone in the community is welcome to pick what’s ripe and enjoy it!
🥬 🥦 🍓 🍅 🫛 🥒 Especially before school resumes, we don’t want things to go to waste!

The staff put on a fun Staff Talent Show for the students! The kids had lots of laughs in our last day together! Big thanks to all the acts and Mrs. Sandland and Ms. Micki for MCing! Followed by the 5th Grade Walk and the buses being sprayed! There was even a dinosaur in a Jeep who picked up a student and a pair of horses! Staff ended the year with a tasty potluck and celebrated our FY26 NPE Staff of the Year Mrs. Paul, our Teacher of the Year Mrs. Bartlett and our Apple Jam Award Winner Ms. Cook (sorry failed to get their photos!). We also celebrate years of service including Mrs. Jeanie Loewenstein who completed 20 years! Congratulations to all for a wonderful year with the BEST students! 💕

We estimate that 22,000 water balloons were thrown today 😳!! A school record to my knowledge! Thank you to everyone who contributed 🌟And if that wasn’t enough to get the students and staff soaking wet, the NP Fire Department came in clutch to ensure everyone was completely soaked to the core!

Front office lost and found has several pair of prescription glasses, lots of keys and a photo locket.

Please some up to the office to claim. Everything will be cleared out and donated/disposed of by next week.
