Members of the Farthest North F.O.O.L.S continue to lead from the front and help mentor the new generation of firefighters coming through the Interior of Alaska fire service. Dave Mattox, Dan Weatherly, and Bobby Ross (FNF President) are just a few members of the current instructor cadre that are assisting with the UAF CTC Fire Science Summer Fire Academy.

Great turnout for today’s F.O.O.L.S Co****le Tournament. Thanks to the Fairbanks Co****le Association for once again partnering with us and making this such a great event.

Huge shoutout out to Andrew and Golden Heart Waste Management for hosting and allowing us the use of your beautiful facility.

T’s BBQ Connection provided much needed sustenance and Golden Heart Treats was clutch with the sweets! Door prize donations were provided by 3 Bears, Curtis Tools for Hero’s, and Denali Industrial Supply.

Lastly, thanks to our very own Sam Sanders for putting the whole thing together. Strong work Sam!
