is the only national 24-hour giving event supporting LGBTQ+ nonprofits and programming, and it's happening on June 4th.

Early giving begins today and it all comes to a close on June 30th, allowing organizations to fundraise thorughout .

We're raising funds for QUEERY, our free outdoor program that connects q***r and questioning middle and high school youth with nature.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to fuly fund QUEERY for the remainder of this year and the next.

Last night, we gathered at the farm of board member Carrie Jennings and her partner, Charlie Mahler, for our annual meeting and it did not disappoint.

We hiked the property, shared wood-fired pizza, and took care of some exciting business. Please join us in welcoming three new board members: Michael Pressman, Jordan Brennan, David Wagman, and Devavani Chatterjea!

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to our departing board members, Margie O'Loughlin, John Hamer, and Odin Bowen, for their dedication and service.

And congratulations to our new Board Chair, Sarah Fortner, and incoming Vice Chair, Robert Harris III! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce we will be hosting a MN GreenCorps member starting in September and the application for members is now open!

We are looking for a member to facilitate education and outreach that empowers individuals to make decisions that benefit water, land, and environmental health, particularly in the area of stormwater, water conservation, and volunteerism.

Our GreenCorps member will:

Increase public awareness of stormwater pollution and promote preventive action through community and youth programming, such as the Clean River Rangers program.

Deliver water conservation education and hands-on programming, including rain garden and rain barrel workshops for residents.

Plan and coordinate volunteer events with local partners, recruiting and training community members to support hands-on environmental stewardship activities.

And develop surveys and evaluation methods to track program effectiveness and report on findings and overall program success.

There are up to 58 positions statewide and the service term is September 2026 through August 2027.
