Missing Person

PRESS RELEASE
Norton Shores Police Department Seeking Assistance Locating a Missing Endangered Person

The Norton Shores Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Eddie Lee Donald Jr., 49, who has been reported as a missing endangered person.

Donald left his assisted living residence in the 100 block of E. Mt. Garfield Road at approximately 1:15 p.m. on September 5, 2026. He was last seen walking northbound on Henry Street. Donald does not have a phone, wallet, identification, or a change of clothing with him.

Donald is described as a Black male, approximately 6'1" tall and 246 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black cowboy hat, black shirt, tan coat, black pants, and blue gym shoes.

Donald has known connections in the Muskegon area, including Muskegon Heights. Officers have been working to locate him, but his current whereabouts remain unknown.

This is an active investigation. If you have any information about this incident, please contact the Norton Shores Police Department immediately at (231) 733-2691, Silent Observer at (231) 722-7463, or 9-1-1.

School starts this Thursday! As our kids head back to the classroom, let’s all do our part to help keep them safe.
🚸 Please note there is a new crosswalk at Norton and Padelt. Slow down, stay alert, and watch carefully for children and families crossing the road.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE – SATURDAY, AUGUST 15 🚧

Motorists should expect temporary road closures and delays near Ross Park Saturday morning for the Arts & Dash 5K, which begins at 8:00 AM.

Please use caution in the area, watch for runners and event volunteers, and consider an alternate route if traveling near Ross Park during the race.
