On 12/21/21, ACPD Officers recovered an illegal handgun and a large amount of ma*****na during a home visit in the City of Oakland. The individual was taken into custody and the handgun was recovered. ACPD is making efforts to reduce of gun violence in the community.

Congratulations to Antonio Gomez for winning the APPA President’s Award for the ACPD Wall of Success project. The award is given to someone for their community corrections project. The award will be presented at the APPA’s Winter 2022 Training Institute in Atlanta Georgia.
