Updated "Shelter in Place" order from the Alameda County Offices Public Health Department (effective 6/8/2020):

The updated order allows for small outdoor gatherings in "Social Bubbles," for childcare and extracurricular activities to be expanded to all children, and allows certain businesses with limited person-to-person contact to re-open. The face mask order remains in effect and you must continue to wear your face coverings at all times when outside your home (even during physical exercise).

A Social Bubble is a group of 12 or fewer people from different households, and the same Social Bubble should be maintained for a minimum of 3 weeks. Participation is limited to one Social Bubble at a time. Members of a Social Bubble are strongly encouraged to comply with social distancing requirements.

The #AlamedaCounty Public Health Department will continue to monitor our community's progress in slowing the spread of #COVID_19, and will adjust the Shelter in Place orders as needed.

Through our collective efforts, we can continue to meet public health benchmarks that will allow us to move towards reopening. You can find more information on the Alameda County Reopening Plan here: http://acphd.org/media/584319/alameda-county-covid-19-reopening-plan-english.pdf.

ACPD is pleased to reshare our redesigned Internet website http://www.acgov.org/probation/

The primary objectives of our site development effort were to revitalize our public website by making it more modern, client-focused, and more relevant to the clients we serve as well as the public and our community partners. We focused on providing an easily navigated, aesthetically pleasing, user friendly website that also increases the visibility of our programs and partnerships while providing streamlined menus and clear navigation.

We started the project with some ambitious goals, from creating a site that aligned with our Strategic Plan, updating our Logo, and creating a standard Departmental Presentation template, all the while improving the site’s responsiveness on multiple platforms. We partnered with Digital Deployment Inc., with experience in over 300 website redesigns, to walk us through the creation of our design and our continued collaboration with Alameda County’s Information Technology Department, who programmed and hosts our site.

Separate from the design, the biggest update was the addition of our Find Assistance section that provides information to those we serve. We also created a Spotlight page highlighting important news, a Victims page filled with resources, a Partners page showcasing the expansiveness of our collaboration.

We encourage everyone to explore the new site, and to share any questions or feedback with the Project Manager of the redesign, Fina Perez. If you’d like to keep up with future updates, follow us on Twitter or Facebook and please provide feedback through our new website feedback page, located at the footer of the home page.

For any follow up questions, please contact Fina Perez, Executive Program Coordinator at [email protected] or (510) 268-7127. Thank you for your support.
