Run by Asbury Lockett and Linda Le, AnewAmerica Community Corporation Women's Business Center in San Jose was one of the first organizations we built a relationship with when we opened our San Jose office. Since then, they have referred countless small business owners and partners to our community. In collaboration, we’ve been able to explore new ways to deliver valuable services to the people of San Jose, including a pilot program that established a free entity-selection click with attorneys.

Small Business Administration/COVID-19 Loans: The Small Business Administration (SBA) Economic Injury loan program is now live in Santa Clara County and other counties across the state of California. The loan application is available at sba.gov.
Businessownerspace.com partners AnewAmerica Community Corporation, US Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA), America's SBDC, and SCORE Mentors will be available to help prepare loan paperwork. The Office of Economic Development developed a helpful FAQ for the local business community at sjeconomy.com

Excited to announce that our collective team has helped 545 businesses with technical assistance including graphic design, social media marketing, legal challenges, financing, and a facade improvement program. On Friday, our collective led by AnewAmerica Community Corporation, Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center, Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights of the San Francisco Bay Area, The Unity Council, and Oakland Digital Arts & Literacy Center (ODALC), presented our community impact, findings, and next steps to the City of Oakland - Local Government.
