🔥🚒 Fire Safety Fun at Lamar EEC! 🐻❤️

A big BEAR-Y special thank you to Ms. Campos and Officer Lynn for coordinating with Captain Joe Velez of the Odessa Fire Department to bring a wonderful SHIELD Fire Safety lesson to Ms. Pina’s class yesterday! 👨‍🚒🧯

Our little Bears had an exciting opportunity to learn important fire safety tips AND get an up-close look at the special gear and equipment firefighters use to keep our community safe! 🚒🔥

❤️🐾 Thank you to everyone who helped make this hands-on learning experience possible! We love seeing our little Bears learn from our amazing community heroes!

🚔💙 A HISTORIC MILESTONE FOR ECISD POLICE DEPARTMENT! 💙🚔

Please join us in congratulating Officer Marina Vasquez-McCrury on officially being sworn in as one of our newest police officers! 👮‍♀️🎉

Officer Vasquez-McCrury holds a special place in our department’s history as the first member of the ECISD Police Department to begin her career as a dispatcher and then be sponsored by our department to attend the police academy, successfully completing her training and becoming a sworn peace officer.

Her journey from serving behind the radio to now serving behind the badge is a true testament to her dedication, perseverance, and commitment to law enforcement.

This milestone represents not only an incredible personal achievement but also the opportunities for professional growth and advancement within our department.

From answering the call to responding to the call, her dedication to serving and protecting has never changed. 💙

Congratulations, Officer Vasquez-McCrury! We are incredibly proud of your accomplishments and look forward to watching you continue to grow in your law enforcement career.

🚔 Once a voice behind the badge, now proudly wearing one!
