Our Color Fun Run was a HUGE success! Our students surpassed our $12,000 fundraising goal, and the day could not have been more perfect. The kids had an absolute blast! 😎

A special thank-you to our generous supporters: JL HR Consulting, REALTYONEGROUP ESTEEM, Dutch Bros Coffee, and Sunflower Bounce KC.

We are also incredibly grateful to our Color Fun Run Co-Chairs, Sarah Riffel and Hannah Salter, along with their committee, for the countless hours they dedicated to making this school-wide event such a success.

Heatherstone Elementary marked its 30th anniversary last week with a special event honoring its students and staff while celebrating 30 Years of BELIEVING!

As part of the celebration, a time capsule from 1999 was opened, giving students a glimpse into the past.

Members of the PBIS Student Guidance Team selected items to place in a new time capsule, which will be opened 20 years from now. Each student shared what they chose and why it was meaningful.

To close the ceremony, the students sang the school’s new alma mater—introduced this year and making Heatherstone the first elementary school in the district to have its own. 🎶

It was fun to celebrate Heatherstone, its students, and all of the teachers—past and present. 💙🐾💚
