A huge THANK YOU to the Omaha Morning Rotary for investing in Heart Heroes through both their generous financial support and hands-on service!

Through their Rotary Service Project, they helped us prepare Totes of Hope, filled with comfort items and encouragement for families navigating their child’s heart journey. Their commitment reminds us that service isn’t just about giving—it’s about showing up and making a difference when it matters most.

A heartfelt thank you to our incredible vendors who helped make the Omaha Superhero Heart Run such a memorable event! ❤️🦸

Thank you to The 402 Yard Card for the fun yard signs and photo opportunities, Maravillas Olga or the beautiful balloon arch, the Gelu Italian Ice - Omaha Truck for a refreshing treat, DJ Conrad for keeping the energy high throughout the event, and Jason Smith at Farm Bureau Financial Services for providing hot dogs for our attendees.

Your generosity and support helped create a special experience for our Heart Heroes, their families, and the entire community. We’re grateful to have you as part of this event and for helping us make the day extra special!

❤️ Meet Ty Roderiques!

One year ago, on October 20, 2025, Ty’s life changed forever. While at the gym, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln sophomore and men’s gymnastics team member experienced a life-threatening heart rhythm issue caused by Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome, leading to emergency cardiac surgery.

Today, Ty is turning his experience into a powerful opportunity to raise awareness about heart conditions in young athletes. Through his partnership with Heart Heroes, he hopes to encourage others to listen to their bodies, advocate for their health, and remind young people living with heart conditions that their diagnosis doesn’t have to limit their dreams. ❤️

Even more, the funds Ty raises will help Heart Heroes provide superhero capes to children affected by Congenital Heart Disease (CHD), giving them an extra boost of courage and hope as they navigate their own heart journeys.
