Many hands, one goal: serving others.
Today, our Orono High School seniors spent the day making a difference through Senior Service Day. From assisting community organizations to helping our campus staff and students, the Class of 2026 dedicated their time and talents to lending a helping hand wherever it was needed.
Students spent the day packing meals at Feed My Starving Children, planting and mulching native pollinators at OMS, painting picnic tables at Long Lake City Hall, organizing Spartan Closets, supporting Intermediate School Track & Field Day, sprucing up the yard at the Discovery Center, judging the 8th Grade Capstone projects, and engaging with residents at Valora of Orono through a rousing game of volleyball. These efforts—and many others—made a positive impact across our community.
Senior Service Day is a meaningful opportunity for students to give back, strengthen community connections, and demonstrate the leadership and character they have developed during their time in Orono.
Thank you to all of our community partners, staff members, and individuals who welcomed our students and provided opportunities for service. We are proud of our seniors and the positive impact they made today!
