Congratulations to the Orono High School Class of 2026! 🎓

Last night, we celebrated 246 graduates as they crossed the stage and joined the proud tradition of Orono alumni.

Thank you to our graduates, families, guests, and staff for adapting so smoothly as we moved Commencement from Pesonen Stadium to the Orono High School gymnasium when unexpected severe weather approached. Your flexibility and positive spirit helped make the evening a memorable celebration of our seniors and their accomplishments.

You can view the Commencement program here: https://bit.ly/2026-PROGRAM. Thank you to Orono staff and Cooper Shannon Photography for sharing a "sneak peek" of last night's photos.

Congratulations, graduates! We wish each of you happiness, fulfillment, and personal success in the years ahead. ❤💙

Many hands, one goal: serving others.

Today, our Orono High School seniors spent the day making a difference through Senior Service Day. From assisting community organizations to helping our campus staff and students, the Class of 2026 dedicated their time and talents to lending a helping hand wherever it was needed.

Students spent the day packing meals at Feed My Starving Children, planting and mulching native pollinators at OMS, painting picnic tables at Long Lake City Hall, organizing Spartan Closets, supporting Intermediate School Track & Field Day, sprucing up the yard at the Discovery Center, judging the 8th Grade Capstone projects, and engaging with residents at Valora of Orono through a rousing game of volleyball. These efforts—and many others—made a positive impact across our community.

Senior Service Day is a meaningful opportunity for students to give back, strengthen community connections, and demonstrate the leadership and character they have developed during their time in Orono.

Thank you to all of our community partners, staff members, and individuals who welcomed our students and provided opportunities for service. We are proud of our seniors and the positive impact they made today!

🎓✨ Congratulations to the...Class of 2038! ✨🎓

Today, we celebrated our Kindergarten students as they participated in their Kindergarten Graduation ceremony and looked ahead to an exciting future in first grade.

A highlight of the ceremony was their special rendition of "New York, New York":

🎵 Start spreading the news, we're leaving today. We want to be a part of it, First Grade, First Grade! We’ve worked very hard, we're ready to go. We're gonna be a part of it. First Grade, First Grade! 🎵

Congratulations, Class of 2038! ❤💙
