The Butte County Development Services Code Enforcement Division is excited to host its first free Community Cleanup event for North Thermalito residents!

⚠️ This cleanup is for unincorporated Butte County residents living north of Grand Avenue only.

Before attending, please note:
✅ Unincorporated Butte County residents only
✅ This event is for residents north of Grand Avenue only
✅ Review the Accepted and Unacceptable Waste Items List before arriving

Staff will be monitoring disposal bins to ensure only accepted items are dumped.
❌ No household garbage
❌ No hazardous waste or hazardous materials

🌲 Don’t give fire a ladder.

Untrimmed tree limbs are one of the most overlooked hazards on your property. They can create a direct path for fire to climb from the ground straight into the canopy.

Here’s what to do now:

✅ Limb trees up to create space between the ground and canopy

✅ Clear debris and vegetation beneath your trees

✅ Keep branches away from your roof and chimney

FREE Residential Green Waste Disposal Days at Neal Road Recycling and Waste Facility for 2026

Butte County residents living in the Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) may dispose of green waste for free at the Neal Road Recycling and Waste Facility on the designated days listed below.
