Today, we extend our sincere thanks to Councilmember Katherine Gilmore Richardson, the Communications Workers of America (CWA) Local 13000, Councilmember Jim Harrity, and everyone who helped make this meaningful donation possible.

Through CWA's nationwide Human Rights Committee Initiative, the organization is working to support marginalized communities and inspire others to give back. We are grateful to partner with them in this effort by helping provide luggage to children and youth in foster care.

For young people transitioning between homes, a suitcase is more than just a way to carry their belongings. It represents dignity, comfort, and the reassurance that their personal items matter.

Thank you to CWA Local 13000, Councilmember Katherine Gilmore Richardson, and Councilmember Jim Harrity for your partnership and commitment to supporting Philadelphia's children, youth, and families. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

Meet the team at the Achieving Reunification Center (ARC)!

When parents enter the child welfare system, they are often navigating one of the most difficult periods of their lives. That's where ARC comes in.

Through coaching, individualized support, and long-term planning, ARC helps parents and caregivers overcome barriers, build confidence, and work toward lasting family stability. From the front desk to reunification coaches and support staff, every member of the ARC team plays an important role in helping families achieve their goals.

Throughout Reunification Month, we'll be introducing some of the dedicated professionals who help make this work possible and support families on their reunification journey every day.

πŸŽ“ Congratulations to the Class of 2026!

At the end of May, Girls and Boys TRACK and the Philadelphia Youth Leadership Council (PYLC) came together to celebrate their graduating seniors and recognize the exciting next steps in their academic journeys.

Throughout the event, seniors shared their plans for the future, including attending colleges and universities, entering workforce and training opportunities, or taking gap years before continuing their education. The celebration highlighted the hard work, perseverance, and leadership these young adults have demonstrated throughout their high school careers.

We are incredibly proud of all of our graduates and look forward to seeing the impact they will make in their communities and beyond. Congratulations, Class of 2026. Your next chapter is just beginning!
