Tips for Visiting a Splash Pad with Young Kids this Summer ☀️💦
1. Check hours before you go
Some splash pads are closed on certain days or hours—nothing worse than excited kids showing up to a dry pad! A quick check can save the day.
2. Pack the must-haves
Come prepared with extra clothes, a swim diaper, water shoes, a towel, and snacks. Being prepared helps caregivers stay focused on fun and connection—something we love to support in home visiting!
3. Stay flexible
Maybe your little one loved it last time, but today they’re not feeling it—and that’s okay! Follow their lead. Watching, playing nearby, or just spending time together still supports learning and bonding.
Home visiting is all about helping families build confidence, create positive routines, and enjoy everyday moments like these 💛
