It's a reminder that every young person deserves to be celebrated.

To have people show up. To feel wanted. To know they're worth the effort.

At City House, we talk a lot about housing, safety, and stability. Those things matter deeply. But so do moments like these.

Because healing happens in the big milestones and the small ones.

And for one young woman, it looked like her very first birthday party 💙

Sometimes the smallest things can restore the biggest pieces of dignity. 🫶

At City House, we provide brand new clothing to the youth we serve because every young person deserves to feel valued, confident, and cared for — not like an afterthought.

For some of our youth, receiving new clothes with tags still on them is something they’ve never experienced before. That moment matters more than most people realize.

A huge thank you to the volunteers helping us transition closets for summer and create spaces where youth can feel seen, supported, and respected every step of the way. ☀️
