🇺🇸Operation Valor Horizon is collecting donations in our office until March 15th that will be sent as part of a care package to our locally deployed servicemembers.

📦Please drop off any of the following items to their box in our office:
• Hygiene items (Male & Female)
• Soap
• Jerky/hard candy
• Nose spray
• Foot powder
• Baby wipes / Dude wipes
• Snack bars
• Protein bars
• Drink mixes
• Letters or notes of encouragement

A Press Republican article yesterday mistakenly stated to come to our office to do your Hometown Heroes banners. Applications for these are found at your local town offices (Town of Plattsburgh, City of Plattsburgh, etc), so you'll need to go to those locations to purchase the banners. However, if you need assistance obtaining a DD214 for the application, we MAY* be able to help.

🇺🇸We are so proud of our Director Kevin LeBoeuf and Operation Valor Horizon for putting in 22 grueling miles yesterday on Veterans Day to raise awareness for the average of 22 veterans that commit su***de every day.

Join Plattsburgh State in Honoring Our Veterans on Military Appreciation Night!

On November 1st, come out to support the Plattsburgh State Cardinals Men’s Hockey team as they face off against Plymouth State! They will be honoring our local veterans with a special slideshow featured at the rink and in the lobby.

If you’d like your photos included in the slideshow, please submit a picture to [email protected] with the name, branch, years of service, and the conflict in which served.

Come enjoy the game, and thank the brave men & women who have served. 🇺🇸🏒

Did you know you may already be eligible to have veteran put on your NYS ID? This program has existed since 2013, but some people may never have heard of it.

If you are a qualified U.S. military veteran who was honorably discharged, and you have a New York State driver license, learner permit or non-driver photo ID card, you can have the word "Veteran" printed on the upper left hand of your photo document.

There is no additional fee for the veteran status designation on your document, but all regular transaction fees will apply.
