Happy EMS week! We are so thankful for all our providers across the county, state, and country! This is a thankless job at times and it is truly a calling! Don’t ever forget why you came into this field … to be there for someone on their worst day… to be calm in the chaos… to care for others!

Governor Mike Braun has officially proclaimed this week as EMS Week in Indiana, honoring the dedication, compassion and professionalism of EMS providers across the state. From large cities to rural communities, EMS professionals are there when Hoosiers need them most.

Jay County EMS/Training institute had a trauma skills day this past weekend for emt students and first responders to work on skills. It takes multiple providers/volunteers to help with skills stations and we could not do it without them. Thanks to everyone that participated.
Also, thank you to Lutheran Air for giving the students a tour of the helicopter and information on how we can work with them on critical calls.
