There are no program fees or other charges for this service. Services include but are not limited to: one-on-one life counseling, GED tutoring, education and referral to all county, state, and private services, and mo
re. We need money and volunteers to continue our mission to help the homeless. Thankfully various Federal and County agencies provide slightly over half our budget. The rest comes from churches, individuals, and private foundations. The largest donation is the sum of the hot meals provided by churches and individual families each evening. However there is so much more to do and pay for besides food. The biggest single expense is staff to run the shelter and provide the programs we have in place. Project ECHO has made progress addressing the problems of the homeless, but there will always be work to be done/ There are still many men, women, and even children living in the woods and streets. We have plans and ideas on how to address their needs and help them achieve independence, but we lack the money and resources to begin implementation. Which is why we turn to people such as you. With a single donation or day of your life volunteered, Project ECHO is one step closer to helping another homeless family. So please join one of our events, volunteer a day, or donate.
