Our clients had an amazing afternoon visiting each of the decorated vehicles, showing off their costumes, and collecting candy galore! 🍬✨

This week concludes our 6-week Cooking Class in Charles County! Throughout the six weeks, our clients learned things like knife skills, hygiene, making a balanced meal, and much more. Thanks to for coming out to teach our clients skills they can use for the rest of their lives.

Wrapping up NDEAM Month with one last success story. Meet Omareon Shorter of Charles County. Omareon balances having two jobs, with The Arc picking him up for his 6 a.m. start at the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA). After his morning shift, The Arc helps him get to his afternoon job at the State Highway Administration building and stays with him in case he needs any assistance or guidance.

⛵ A Beautiful Day on the Bay with CRAB! ⛵

our Community Engagement Manager, Elise, and her family joined Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating (CRAB) in Annapolis for one of their Family Sails, and it was an unforgettable experience! 🌊☀️

Founded in 1991, CRAB brings the thrill, freedom, and therapeutic value of boating to people with disabilities, recovering warriors, and youth from underserved communities. From their fully accessible Adaptive Boating Center in Annapolis We are proud to call CRAB one of our community partners! The individuals we serve visit CRAB for boat rides and other fun activities throughout the season, and we love seeing the joy and confidence these experiences bring.
