Have you viewed "Lo Que Trajimos – What We Brought With Us" yet? It is an exhibition by Teen Creative Fellowship artist Adaliz Rivera, a high school junior, that explores personal and community stories connected to the Dominican residents of Providence.

Through research, hand built sculptural installations, sound, and storytelling, Adaliz honors Dominican culture, migration, memory, and the meaning of finding home. Each piece invites visitors to reflect on identity, belonging, and the stories we carry with us.

Experience it now during regular library hours in PPL's gallery, 3rd floor.

Join PPL on June 4 for a moving evening of storytelling, resilience, and community. “Out Of My Comfort Zone” is a new theatrical performance devised by students of the Genesis Center’s Creative Pathways Program; a group of individuals from around the world who now call Rhode Island home.

The performance and program were made possible by a dedicated team of artists, educators, and administrators. Eve Kerrigan serves as the Program Director, while Drama Therapist Ana Bess Moyer Bell, leads the therapeutic components of the program. Out Of My Comfort Zone is directed by Nan Joubá. Acting alongside program participants are Rebekah Acquah, Brien Lang, and Claudia Traub. Noga Paulino serves as the ESOL instructor. Strategic oversight is provided by Christopher Ackley, Vice President of Partnerships & Strategy at Genesis Center, and Baha Sadr, State Refugee Coordinator at the Rhode Island Department of Human Services.

Admission is free and open to the public. Register here. https://tinyurl.com/mfz8umce

Join PPL tomorrow at 5:30 pm in the gallery for the grand opening of Lo Que Trajimos – What We Brought With Us. This exhibition by Teen Creative Fellowship artist Adaliz Rivera, a high school junior, explores personal and community stories connected to the Dominican residents of Providence.

Celebrate the artist, experience the exhibition, and support youth creativity in our community. All are welcome.
