Make, shake, settle, breathe - 5/20’s Krafty Kids are deeply appreciative of Anika Trancik of Atisha Kadampa Buddhist Center, who demonstrated how to regulate our emotions using the “calming jars” that we made. We are also grateful to the library’s Met High School intern, Lexi, who suggested the “calming jars” craft.

Perimenopause isn’t a crisis, it’s a transition, and Dr. Erin Kunkel brings a fun, science-backed (and refreshingly un-stuffy) approach to understanding everything from hormone changes and brain fog to sleep struggles and mood shifts. This engaging talk at Mt. Pleasant Library offers myth-busting insights and practical, evidence-based strategies for feeling like yourself again, whether you’re preparing for what’s ahead or making sense of what’s already happened. The talk is on Tuesday, May 26th at 6 pm. Register here: https://clpvd.org/event/perimenopause-the-science-of-feeling-like-yourself-again/
