Our cadets lead beyond the field. MSIII’s have the opportunity to apply and participate in Cadet Leadership Training or Army Internships after Cadet Summer Training.

Cadet Halal was in Fort Knox, Kentucky for an internship with the office of the Staff Judge Advocate learning more about the Department of the Army’s core legal disciplines.

Cadet Dempsey was at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research for an internship conducting research in the Center for Military Psychiatry and Neuroscience.

Cadet Costa completed his CTLT at Schofield Barracks in Oahu, Hawaii, with the 25th Infantry Division where he participated in team STX land navigation and community outreach.

Over the summer, we will be highlighting cadets as they pursue different academic, military, and extracurricular endeavors. Our first two are CDTs Lambert and Rosado, who participated in Providence College’s Smith Fellowship and Maymester to Rome, respectively.

CDT Lambert interned for six weeks with the Dominicans for Justice and Peace, a human rights non-profit, in Geneva, Switzerland.

CDT Rosado (right in both pictures) participated in a Providence College Maymester - one week in the classroom, then two weeks abroad. While he was in Italy, he and his classmates explored ancient Roman sites to better understand the cultural and historical impact.

Make sure to keep an eye out for more cadet highlights!

Last Friday, our cadets had the last PT of the year! This included a 2.5 mile fun run, a class tug of war competition, and a dip in the lake. We are so proud of how much our cadets have grown over the year and cannot wait to see what summer has in store for Patriot Battalion.
