During demolition, traffic may be detoured overnight, with one lane of traffic remaining on I-295 under the bridge.

🚧 Reminder: Starting tomorrow, we’re scheduled to undertake repairs to the historic stone masonry wall along Route 108 (Kingstown Road) in the village of Peace Dale in the town of South Kingstown. This historic wall, in the vicinity of the Palisades Mill, was built in the late 1870s.

Through the end of August during weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., we need to close Route 108 South with a one-lane alternating traffic pattern to accommodate both directions of travel.

All lanes on Route 108 in this area will reopen outside of the weekday working hours.

❗ 🌧️ Heavy rains are expected statewide this morning with the potential for localized flooding.

⚠️ Reduce your speed, have your headlights and wipers on, and never drive through a flooded roadway.

⚠️ Reminder: Starting tonight at 9 p.m., we’re scheduled to shift all traffic to the right on I-95 South at the Route 4 Interchange in Warwick and East Greenwich to create a safe work zone in the median as part of our “Missing Move” project.

What motorists will see that night:
➡️ All lanes will shift to the right on I-95 South, between Exit 24B (Route 4 South) and 24A (Route 2 South)

➡️ The shifting of lanes on I-95 South approaching Exit 24B (Route 4 South) will be initiated approximately 500 feet sooner than its current location.

➡️ The right lane drop prior to Exit 24A will be shifted slightly so drivers encounter it approximately 500 feet sooner than its current location.
