Calling All Artists: Submit Your Art for 2026 Provincetown Book Festival

Provincetown, MA — Artists in Provincetown, Cape Cod, and all over the Northeast are asked to submit an art piece that might serve as the emblem for the 2026 Provincetown Book Festival. The subject of the art can be anything inspired by the three parts of the event: Provincetown, book, and festival. The chosen art will be reproduced on posters, brochures, T-shirts, and flyers, and, of course, credited to the artist.

2026 marks the tenth Provincetown Book Festival, all sponsored by and held at the Provincetown Library. The 2026 Provincetown Book Festival will be held this year on Friday September 25 through Sunday, September 27. Featured guest authors include Hannah Lillith Assadi, author of Paradiso 17, Jordy Rosenberg, author of Night Night Fawn, and Michael Lowenthal, author of a book of essays called Place Envy..

For the Festivals in 2023, 2024 and 2025, New England artists Marian Roth, Mikhail Zarovny and Beth Faherty provided beautiful paintings, mostly depicting or inspired by Provincetown’s waterfront and the Provincetown Library.

Artists who are interested in submitting their work for consideration should send a photo of the piece, with a brief bio, to Nan Cinnater at the Provincetown Library ([email protected]). Deadline for submissions has been extended to June 10.
