WE ARE SO PROUD!

Today, Franklin Elementary PTA was honored as the 2025 winner of the Jan Harp Domene Diversity & Inclusion Award!

This national recognition celebrates PTAs that are making meaningful strides to create a school community where every child, every family, and every voice feels welcomed, valued, and included.

We are incredibly proud of the work our Franklin community continues to do to build connection, celebrate differences, and ensure that everyone has a place at our school.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came to celebrate with us today! Your presence, support, and love for our Franklin community made this special moment even more meaningful.

This award belongs to our students, families, teachers, staff, volunteers, and entire Franklin community. Thank you for helping make Franklin a place where everyone belongs!

Lunchtime favorites!

Two of our favorite lunch options were on the menu yesterday! First up, the Muffin Meal. A muffin, yogurt, cheese stick, and Goldfish crackers.

And, of course, everyone’s favorite… TACOS!

both meals, of course, come with our salad bar, full of fresh fruits and veggies!

A big shout-out to our amazing Child Nutrition Department for doing such a wonderful job keeping our students fed, healthy, and happy each day! We appreciate all the care that goes into making school meals nutritious, delicious, and something our students look forward to.

Whether it’s a school lunch or a lunch from home, lunchtime is the best time!

Hello Falcons! Hearing is an important part of your student’s ability to learn and progress at school. For this reason, and in accordance with state and federal laws, we conduct a yearly hearing screening to identify children with potential hearing problems. Hello Falcons! Tomorrow night is the big Fall Festival hosted by our friends at My Hometown. There will be free food and activities for the whole neighborhood (see the flyers). It will take place at Franklin Park (807 W. 600 S. on the south side of the train tracks). Dinner starts at 5:30. See you there!

We are excited to continue our partnership with the Mobile School Pantry from the Utah Food Bank!

Once a month, the Mobile School Pantry will visit our school to provide food resources and support to our students and their families. We are grateful for this partnership and the opportunity to help connect our school community with these valuable resources.

This week’s FFVP tasting is a colorful one! 🍇💜

Students will get to try mammoth green grapes (some nearly the size of a golf ball) along with fresh purple asparagus. It’s another chance for students to explore new flavors, textures, and fresh produce through Provo City School District’s Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program.

Vision Screening: Tuesday, September 1
If your student wears glasses, please make sure they wear them to school on Tuesday.

Labor Day: Monday, September 7
We’re heading into a three-day weekend! There will be no school on Monday, September 7, in observance of Labor Day.

Picture Day: Friday, September 11
Picture Day is coming up! Be sure your student is ready to smile for their school picture.
