Kick off your 2026 gardening season with us at the Richland Township Community Garden in Richland Township (Zone 6b)!
Grow with Your Neighbors
Garden plots (about 10' x 10') are available now on a first-come, first-served basis at 402 Station Rd., Quakertown, PA 18951.
The season officially starts May 1st, and there is currently no rental fee to use a plot.
This is a BYOW (bring your own water) style garden, but a water collection barrel may be available depending on rain conditions.
What You Can Grow
Use the included 2026 planting and harvesting calendar (Zone 6b) to plan peas, spinach, onions, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, beans, cucumbers, zucchini, garlic, and more all season long.
Plant in early spring, summer, and fall for continuous harvests from March through October.
How It Works
Plots are for personal use only and not for commercial growing.
Gardeners maintain their own plots, keep paths clear, and avoid fertilizers or commercial pesticides.
Gardening is permitted from dawn to dusk, and simple fencing and supports are allowed.
How to Reserve Your Plot
Plots are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
Return the registration form to the Township office Monday–Friday, 10 a.m.–2 p.m., or use the online option listed on the form.
Any plots not occupied by July 1st will be reassigned, so sign up early and be ready for the May 1st start.
