Today our Public Works Department had the opportunity to participate in a “Live Line Electrical Safety Exhibit” presented by PPL Electric. This hands on training provided a powerful and eye opening look at the dangers of electricity and reinforced the importance of working safely around energized equipment.

From real world demonstrations to practical safety tips, this experience helps ensure our team is better prepared to protect themselves and our community while performing essential services.

We appreciate PPL Electric Utilities for bringing this valuable training to our township and helping us prioritize safety.

PennDOT crews are actively addressing pothole repairs along Allentown Road and Route 663 following the recent stretch of severe freeze-thaw cycles that impacted road surfaces across our region.

We are encouraged to see PennDOT responding quickly to the damages caused by this winter’s harsh temperature swings. These rapid temperature changes are especially tough on Pennsylvania roadways, and timely repairs help keep our community safe and traffic moving smoothly.
