🔥 How can Wyoming residents, landowners and communities better understand wildfire risk? Meet WyldFire 💻 .

Developed at the University of Wyoming by the Wyoming Geographic Information Science Center - University of Wyoming Developed at the University of Wyoming by the Wyoming Geographic Information Science Center (WyGISC) and the Department of Ecosystem Science and Management, WyldFire is a free public platform built for long-term wildfire planning and preparedness.

Users can:

✅ Compare wildfire risk across locations
✅ Explore wildfire, community and landscape data
✅ Generate custom reports for counties or selected areas

WyldFire can help identify where proactive planning and risk-reduction efforts may be needed. It is not an active-fire tracking tool.

What is a whole grain?
Whole grains refer to the entire kernel, including the bran, germ, and endosperm. Each part of the whole grain contributes different nutrients that may help reduce the risk of developing chronic disease.

Why choose whole grains?
Using wheat flour as an example, compared to enriched white flour, 100% whole wheat flour contains 96% more vitamin E, 82% more vitamin B6, 80% more selenium, 78% more magnesium, 72% more chromium, 58% more copper, 52% more zinc, and 37% more folate [1]. Many of Centsible’s recipes include whole grain products. When every dollar counts, choosing whole over refined means you get more nutritional return without spending more.

Tips for selecting a whole grain product:
Just because something is labeled "whole grain" doesn't mean the product is 100% whole grain.
