Smile! Picture Day at the high school will be on Thursday, Sept. 10th. Parents can order online after the picture day is complete. Use Event Code FE30926. ALL students must get their pictures taken even if you are not planning to order pictures.

The first home football game will be this Thursday at Barre Field at 7:00 p.m. when the Rangers take on the Chargers from Union City. Fall Sports passes are for sale for all HOME Fall Sporting events. You can stop up at the high school office from 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. today through Thursday this week if you wish to purchase a pass. The cost is $60.00 for a family pass or $25.00 for individual. Passes will not be sold at the gate on Thursday night.

A message from Mrs. Flynn, RHS Art Teacher:
For the last 3 days, each of my art classes has been busy taping, priming, and painting two crosswalk designs on Chestnut Street. All materials and supplies were provided by the City of Reading.
Both crosswalks are now complete. I am very proud of the students' behavior, and I believe the finished paintings really brighten up the entrance to our school. It has been incredibly fun and empowering for me to lead this, and I could see the pride beaming from each of the students as we pulled the tape to reveal the paintings. Enjoy the pictures!

If you haven’t received Summer EBT, you can still apply!

Benefits are issued as a one-time payment of $120 per eligible child, and most benefits will arrive between late May and August.

If you don’t receive benefits but were expecting them or think you may be eligible, it’s not too late! You can still apply at michigan.gov/MIBridges or contact MDHHS at 833-905-0028 for more information.

It never hurts to apply or ask! The application deadline is August 31, 2026.
