We are left with a simple question:
If it wasn’t CBP, ICE, DHS or FPS, then who were they, and why were they at Ibero?
So, we’re sharing this video and letting our community judge for themselves.
Several media outlets have contacted federal agencies about the individuals present at and around Ibero facilities on August 5. We have been told that Border Patrol/CBP, ICE, DHS, and the Federal Protective Service (FPS) have denied that these individuals were affiliated with their agencies.
That day, our President & CEO personally asked one of the individuals to leave. The individual was wearing a green vest with yellow lettering and was parked in a black Suburban in the back of our parking lot.
Our CEO chose not to record while she approached him because she did not want to escalate the situation. But our staff captured several videos from inside the building.
Three unmarked vehicles were parked on our property. You can see one of them in the video we are sharing leaving, the black suburban. The black Suburban after exiting the parking proceeded to park in the front of our building and remained there until access to our parking lot was restricted.
Since August 5, we have also observed vehicles repeatedly driving past our facility and recording our building.
We are releasing this video because our community deserves to see what our staff saw, not simply hear our account of it.

We will continue seeking answers about who these individuals were, who the vehicles belong to, why they were there, and under what authority they were operating.
Our community and our staff deserve answers.
