Miss Honey Raines from the Kent County Public Library visited our classrooms today to explain their Summer Reading Challenge. We were excited to hear about the prizes everyone can earn by reading books this summer. The Challenge starts today so be sure to check it out on their page or stop by any of their branches. It’s open to all ages, even adults!

Guess who! These students are among those practicing for this week’s Talent Show. We can’t wait to see all of the acts!

Our Talent Show is Friday, June 5 at 9:30 am. Those attending can pre-register by calling the office at 410-810-2622.

Doors will open for audience members at 9 am Friday morning.

Field Day fun continued yesterday afternoon with team games. Water relay races and tug of war were both big hits! Everyone enjoyed cooling off with Italian Ice from Get the Scoop. Shout out to Mr. Walters for giving us another fantastic Field Day!

We had a fabulous Field Day yesterday! Thank you Mr. Walters for organizing so many awesome stations for the morning and to our 5th grade helpers who guided everyone through them. This is just our morning fun- stay tuned to see our amazing afternoon!

Thank you Mrs. Rita Kulley and the Rock Hall Legion Auxiliary for their gift to all our fifth graders! In honor of the 250th anniversary of our nation, Mrs. Spencer and all of her 5th graders received their own copies of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution of the United States.
