Mrs. Hernandez shared her reading chair with her students today during writing block. Her young authors were SO excited to share their stories with the class! 📚💖✏️

They did an amazing job sharing their writing and even had the chance to respond to questions from their peers. We are so proud of their confidence and creativity! 🥰

They’re already excited to hear from more friends and celebrate even more young authors! 🎉📝🐸

Happy Friday! Our staff and some MHES family members got to enjoy a visit from Travelin’ Tom’s coffee truck this morning! It was a great way to round out our first two weeks of the new school year!

Mrs. Sharp’s class made globes! 🌍

They cut out each of the seven continents and carefully placed them on lanterns to show their locations. As they glued them on, they reviewed the 7 continents and 5 oceans and talked about where each one is located. Our students had so much fun creating their own globes while learning about our world! 🌎✨
