End-of-April adventures in the Queen City! 🎨📸

Our 8th Grade Visual Arts students and 7th–8th Grade Continuing Photography classes spent an amazing day exploring Charlotte on our Sketching Charlotte/Urban Photography field trip. From detailed sketches of inspiring places to creative cityscape photography, students captured the energy, architecture, and personality of the city through their own artistic lenses. So proud of their creativity, focus, and talent all day long! ✨🏙️

DOMINANT. 🐾🏆
Saluda Trail Middle School is proud to announce that the Wildcats are officially the 2026 South Carolina Region 2 Test Yourself! Challenge Champions through Math Nation+!

Out of more than 1,225 schools across South Carolina participating in Math Nation+, our students rose to the TOP of Region 2 with an incredible 9,059 high-scoring entries — averaging 12.6 entries per student!

To put our achievement into perspective:
➡️ Last year’s Region 2 winning school earned 2,880 entries.
➡️ Saluda Trail exceeded that total by more than 215%!
➡️ Region 2 includes strong schools from Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Clover, Indian Land, Lancaster, York, and Spartanburg.
➡️ Even more impressive — our school grew from just 66 entries last year to more than 9,000 this year!

That’s not just growth… that’s a Wildcat takeover. 💙🐾
We are incredibly proud of our students, teachers, and staff for their hard work, determination, and commitment to excellence in mathematics.

Congratulations, Wildcats, on bringing home the Region 2 Championship Trophy! 🎉
