Some of life’s greatest lessons are learned beyond the classroom. Our Stallion swimmers volunteered at Bethel Shelters, giving back and making a difference.

Our coaches and teachers know life is about more than grades and finish times - we’re also helping to grow some pretty awesome humans.

The doors to the new Sunset Park Center for Accelerated Studies have been open for two weeks - and what a wonderful two weeks it has been! ✨

As students and staff settle into this new space, we’re taking a look back at the ribbon cutting that marked the beginning of this exciting new chapter.

Our swimmers hit the water for a mock meet, getting in some great practice and preparing for the season ahead. Superintendent Dr. Deborah Elder stopped by to catch up with our coaches and see our student-athletes in action.

It's been an exciting day on some many fronts! Thank you Palmetto State Teachers Association for celebrating one of our amazing educators! We are so fortunate to have teachers like Ms. Baskin inspiring, supporting and making a difference for students in classrooms across Rock Hill Schools. ❤️We’re proud to celebrate educators who show up every day and continue raising the bar!

Ebenezer Avenue Elementary School

Rock Hill Schools teacher Ellisa Baskin has been selected as a recipient of the 2026 Palmetto State Teachers Association Classroom Grant. This is the fifth year of the PSTA Classroom Grants created as part of the Reinvesting in Our Members Program.

Ms. Baskin is a special education teacher at Ebenezer Avenue Elementary School. This grant will purchase math manipulatives and educational games to support her students. The materials, including multiplication, geometry, measurement, and problem-solving games, will provide hands-on, multisensory intervention opportunities designed to improve conceptual understanding, fluency, engagement, and mathematical reasoning. According to Ms. Baskin, “Students will use the materials during small-group intervention instruction, math centers, and targeted remediation activities. The grant will strengthen student achievement outcomes by providing research-based instructional support for struggling learners in mathematics. ”PSTA Director of Teacher Leadership Craig King surprised Ms. Baskin at her school with the exciting news that her grant was chosen as a winner!
