💙 💙

Dr. Tanner Slagle has been part of Rock Hill Schools since 2017. As principal of Lesslie Elementary, he says the people are what keep him here.

“They pour back into you, and they’re doing the work right alongside you.” That support is why he wouldn’t choose anywhere else to work.

Thank you, Dr. Slagle, for being part of the Lesslie team! 💙

🍂 FALL into kindness! 🍂

We love this message coming from 2 of our littlest learners on this first day of Fall. And we know it’s not just these adorable girls who are ready for those temperatures to take a shift south! 🍁😊

As we welcome a new season, it’s a great reminder that some of the most important lessons happen alongside the ABCs and 123s: be kind, include others and take care of one another. Those are lessons worth carrying from the classroom into every season. ❤️

💙 A terrific celebration of some truly TERRIFIC kids!

Thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Rock Hill for its continued partnership with Rock Hill Schools and for celebrating students through the Terrific Kids program.

At this year’s luncheon, teachers and administrators gathered to learn more about the program and to be recognized for the important role they play in students’ lives.

But the highlight of the day was hearing from Charley, a fifth grader at Ebenezer Avenue Elementary! 🌟 Charley shared what being a Terrific Kid means to her, and she did an absolutely beautiful job. What a special reminder of why this partnership - and this work - matters.

We are so grateful for community partners who invest in our students and for the amazing teachers, staff and students who make Rock Hill Schools such a special place.

🏫 Opening Doors to Opportunity

Rock Hill Schools is creating greater access for local businesses to learn how to work with our district.

We recently opened our doors to businesses interested in learning more about the bidding process, procurement requirements and how to compete for potential district projects.

It’s about building connections, expanding opportunity and making sure businesses know how to get involved. Thanks to our finance team for hosting!

🎉 It’s Attendance Week, Be present. Be engaged. Be successful. 📚✨🎉

At Lesslie Elementary, being on time means more than making it to class, it means being ready to learn, grow, and succeed! 💙

Lesslie Elementary is celebrating students who are showing up on time and earning some well-deserved prizes along the way! 🏆🎁

Because everyday matters, every minute counts, and every student deserves the opportunity to be there.
