Great day at the Summer Harvest Festival. Thanks to all that stopped by. Had radios setup and made some contacts with the special event call W8V. Hope to do it all again tomorrow if the weather holds out.

The HEART group will be joining the American Legion Romney Post 91 located at 154 E Main St, Romney, WV 26757 Saturday August 1st 9am-5pm and Sunday August 2nd 10am-4pm during the Summer Harvest Festival.

We will have an information booth and radios set up and the American Legion will be selling BBQ Chicken and Pulled Pork on Saturday as well.

Stop by and ask us about Amateur Radio and support our local American Legion.

Most of you have noticed the thick blanket of smoke that’s settled in from the massive Canadian Wildfires. An N95 or KN95 is appropriate today for those that are respiratory and immunocompromised.

Be mindful of your pets and elderly neighbors.

FYI: HEART Winlink Gateway is back up and running on HF. The FM portion of the gateway is up but connection is still questionable at this time.
