Every registration now includes a FREE 3-disc starter pack for each camper!

Thanks to our sponsor, MVP Disc Sports, we were able to get more discs so campers can keep playing long after camp is over.

🌲 Nature Camp registration is now full!

Calling all young explorers! Join us for a fun-filled morning of outdoor adventure at Nature Day Camp for children ages 6-12. Campers will enjoy hands-on activities, outdoor games, nature walks, crafts, and educational fun while learning about bats 🦇, streams 💧, and local flora and fauna 🌳🐦🌼.

When: Wednesday, July 8, 2026
Where: Conference Center at Hampshire Park, 240 Hampshire Park Drive, Romney, West Virginia 26757
Time: 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Description:
Get ready to hit the field! Hampshire County Parks and Recreation is excited to host a 2-day Youth Football Camp at the Hampshire High School Football Field on July 27–28 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
This camp is a great opportunity for young athletes entering 3rd through 7th grade to learn football fundamentals, improve their skills, build confidence, and have fun with other future Trojans! 💪⚡
Participants will get the chance to work on the basics of the game while getting familiar with the Trojan football program.
Campers should bring cleats and a water bottle each day. Water will be supplied. 💧
Spots are open now — sign up and come play with us! 🎉

🥏 What exactly is disc golf?

Think of it like regular golf, but instead of using clubs and golf balls, players throw discs toward baskets placed around a course.

Kids love it because every throw feels like a challenge: Can I curve it around a tree? Can I land it near the basket? Can I make the putt?

Parents love it because it gets kids outside, moving, thinking, and learning a sport they can keep playing for life.

Our Disc Golf Camp is built for beginners, so your child does not need to know how to play before signing up.

⛳️Summer Golf Camp is back with Hampshire County Parks & Recreation at Mill Creek Country Club!
Session 1 - June 16
Session 2 - July 21

Young golfers are invited to join us for two great days on the course this summer: June 16 and July 21. This camp is designed for youth ages 8–18 and is a fun opportunity to learn the game, build confidence, and enjoy time out on the course with experienced local coaches. 🌞

Golf Camp will take place from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (end time may vary slightly depending on completion of the round). The cost to register is $25 per session, which covers the walking rate for 18 holes of golf. 💵

Participants ages 8–12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Youth ages 13–18 may participate independently. Golfers should bring their own clubs if possible, but sharing clubs with a buddy is allowed. Golf balls and tees can be provided if needed. Whether your child is new to golf or already enjoys playing, this camp is a great way to get outside and grow their skills.
