With each job we get calls for, the client is always offered a service we do after the wildlife is removed. We strive on doing the job exceptional and make sure they don't encounter more wildlife causing a nuisance. This job the front porch had a whole cut out which gave access directly to critters. So we dug a slot on the outside expecting multiple wildlife in the area so you have to dig no less the 8-12 inches down for installing hardwire cloth. We slid it between the wood and the concrete to make a barrier nailed it in place and replaced the porch and put rocks around as a barrier and to give a better look.

A skunk can spray 5 to 6 times in a row before completely depleting its supply.

The Spray Mechanism Gland Capacity:
Skunks hold roughly one tablespoon of oily, sulfur-based liquid distributed between two a**l glands.

Accuracy:
They can accurately fire a targeted stream or fine mist at targets up to 10 to 15 feet away.

Recharge Time:
Once their supply is completely empty, it takes 10 to 14 days to fully regenerate the defensive liquid.

Pre-Spray Warning Signs Because emptying their glands leaves them entirely defenseless for up to two weeks, skunks treat spraying as a last resort.

They will usually perform a distinct warning sequence before firing:

Stomping their front feet aggressivelyHissing or growling loudlyRaising their tail high into the air Charging forward slightly or performing a defensive handstand (common in spotted skunks)

We love helping clients resolve their problems and saving $. We go in sometimes with no idea of the situation and problem solve the whole way. You learn to adapt to the environment and what Wildlife are around. What the clients needs are because believe me not everyone understands what your trying to do. And we completely close off the entry access points so they will have no future issues. If the wildlife are to small to survive on their own we take them to rehabilitation as well as if they are hurt.
