This year marked the 15th anniversary of our Public Health Camp in partnership with UTHealth Houston School of Public Health, UT Health San Antonio - Institute for Integration of Medicine and Science, and what an incredible week it was! Over the past 15 years, we’ve had the privilege of introducing high school students across South Texas to careers in public health and healthcare while helping them build leadership, communication, teamwork, and life skills that will serve them for years to come.

Watching students reflect on what they learned and seeing their confidence grow is a powerful reminder of why this program matters.

To our valued community partners, speakers, volunteers, and sponsors: Thank you for sharing your time, expertise, and passion with our students. Your partnership and commitment have been instrumental in making this milestone year a meaningful and memorable experience.

To our amazing students: Thank you for your enthusiasm, curiosity, and willingness to step outside your comfort zones throughout the week. We are also incredibly grateful to your families for trusting us, supporting your journey, and encouraging you to explore the many opportunities that public health has to offer.
