It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved longtime board member, fierce leader, and dear friend, Sandi Stanford, on Saturday, August 29th.

Sandi was the quintessential "energizer bunny" of Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation and a true powerhouse in breast cancer advocacy. For years, she poured her heart into empowering patients, elevating the voices of advocates, and demanding better research, care, and outcomes for all. Her strength, sharp insight, and boundless warmth transformed countless lives across the globe.
While her presence leaves an irreplaceable void, Sandi’s extraordinary legacy of courage, service, and compassion will continue to guide our work every single day. We extend our deepest love and condolences to her family, loved ones, and everyone whose life she touched.

Rest in peace and power, Sandi. You will be forever missed. 🕊️💗
