During the , advocates catch up with each other during the Welcome Dinner, attend educational sessions during the week and receive guidance from assigned mentors on how to best navigate the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium. On Friday, advocate scholars graduate. Friendships are made and others are strengthened during this powerful week.

The journey begins in August and continues through the conference in December.
